They can be used for both indoor and outdoor events, and are perfect for all kinds of celebrations. Depending on the type of balloons you choose, the costs may vary. Let’s take a look at some examples for different types of balloons.
Latex Balloons
Most balloon arches are used with latex balloons as these are the strongest and most durable balloons. Some companies may require an additional charge for latex balloons or you can do it yourself with a balloon arch kit. The total cost can vary widely, but some companies may charge between $10-$20 per linear foot for balloon arches.
You’ll also want to make sure you use latex balloons and at least three different sizes when you are creating your balloon arch.
But before you rush out and buy any old balloons for your next event, consider investing in high quality balloons. Not only will you get the best results, but you’ll also avoid the frustration and hassle of dealing with popped balloons
Helium Balloons
Helium balloons are another great choice when considering balloon arches for your next party or event. There are several different types of helium balloons to choose from. There are traditional classic helium arches resembling a string of pearls. The String of Pearls balloon arch design typically costs around $5 per linear foot. You may be able to call around for package deals and get a great offer.
There are also quicklink arches which are specialty balloons which can be tied from end to end. You also can choose from the classic string of pearls which usually is the cheapest option for balloon arches. Quicklink balloon arches typically cost about $6 per linear foot. Prices of helium may vary, so make sure you check for updated prices with a company price list.
Usually helium balloons can be used for outdoor designs, they are best for indoor use. Depending on the location of your event, using helium balloons indoors will prevent them from blowing around, making them appear less elegant.
Depending on your event theme and just how much of a wow factor you’re looking for, you may want to consider hiring balloon décor artists who can design and bring your dream event to life.
Mylar Balloons
Mylar balloons can be another option if you are celebrating birthday parties or baby showers. They can be a great way to decorate your event space by creating balloon bouquets for your special event. Foil balloons are another great option in place of mylar balloons. You can even use small and large mylars to create a design arch.
If you choose to add foils for your balloon arch, typically this is priced per piece. Some companies do offer pricing by the foot, but there may be an additional fee for each balloon. You can expect to pay $6 to $30 for most foil helium balloons, but this depends on the company and location of the event.
You can use mylar balloons or balloon arches for your special events. Consider creating balloon walls for the dance floors of a wedding or anniversary parties for an added touch of elegance and class.
The difference in pricing depends on a few factors including the minimum order, size of the order, and other factors that will make up your final quote. The price can also vary depending on the size of the foli and the amount of helium needed for the balloons to float.
Other Fees That May Be Included in Installation Fee:
- Word / Number Arches start at $225 and includes up to 4 numbers (this varies per location and company)
- Additional numbers or letters are $25 each (this varies per location and company)
- Other helium foils vary between $10 – $35 per balloon (this varies per location and company)
