Air Fryer Hash Browns

Delicious, crispy, crunchy hash browns made in the air fryer

Ingredients
  

  • 30 oz frozen shredded hash browns unthawed
  • salt to taste or seasoning of your choice (I like seasoned salt)
  • avocado or olive oil spray
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, add thawed frozen hash browns, salt or seasoned salt, onion powder and garlic powder. Combine and mix well.
  • Spray mixture lightly with avocado or olive oil spray evenly and coated well.
  • Set air fryer to 370° F and cook for 7 minutes. Toss or flip hash browns in basket and cook for additional 7-11 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

Note that each air fryer may vary in time. Check frequently to make sure you don't overcook your hash browns.
If you're making 1-2 servings, the cooking time will vary slightly. You may need to reduce your cooking time to 5-6 minutes total.
These hash browns can be made oil-free. You can omit the oil and sprinkle a little water over the hash browns before placing them in the air fryer for a crispy texture.
